Kodak Again Named to List of “Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World”

Eastman Kodak Company was recently named to the list of “Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World.” The list was started last year as a project of Corporate Knights, Inc., with Innovest Value Strategic Advisors as the research analytic data provider. Kodak has been selected for the list in both years of its existence.

As noted on the Global 100 website ( www.global100.org/2006/index.asp), a company that makes the Global 100 is part of a select group – companies whose sustainability performance falls within the top five per cent of their sector, and have been chosen from among 2,000 of the world’s largest corporations. These companies have demonstrated through performance and strategic ability an ability to manage the “triple bottom line” (society, environment, and economy).

“Kodak is very pleased to receive this repeat recognition of our commitment to excellence in the area of corporate social responsibility,” said David M. Kiser, Director and Vice President, Health, Safety and Environment for Kodak. “It is especially gratifying to know that this list was compiled after detailed analysis and comparison of key criteria for leading worldwide companies. We are in an elite group of companies on this Global 100 list.”
