The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau today announced an agreement with Travelocity Partner Network (TPN) to power their web site booking engine, www.BostonUSA.com.

Under the terms of the agreement, Travelocity Partner Network will power the booking engine for hotels, with plans to also power air, dynamic packaging and attractions beginning mid-summer. The agreement will make it possible to provide a variety of options for visitors around the world interested in traveling to the greater Boston area.

“The launch of this dynamic new booking engine is helping us reach our customers and showcase all the great things our city has to offer,” said Pat Moscaritolo, president and CEO for the Greater Boston CVB.

“Travelocity is proud to be working with the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau,” said Paul Nelson, senior vice president of partner marketing for Travelocity. “We are eager to provide our customers with the best travel options, and this alliance will help us reach that goal.”

The Greater Boston CVB is doing a major rebuild of the web site, which will launch in late summer.
