London, Wednesday, April 29th – Paid search experts, Clicks2Customers, has been appointed by Kulula, South Africa’s biggest online travel portal (in terms of annual sales), to increase bookings for its flight, car, hotel and holiday package offerings by driving more web traffic and enhancing their online marketing strategy. Clicks2Customers has an excellent success rate with travel websites and will use this expertise to increase the awareness of Kulula’s products and services.

Kulula is currently South Africa’s largest travel portal, with over £67 million in revenue generated annually via its website. It was the first South African low cost airline offering cheap domestic flights as well as package deals which included car hire and hotel bookings. The airline’s web site services seven million visitors per annum and the objective of the campaign for Clicks2Customers is to strengthen and further extend its online reach.

“As part of our strategy for growth we have reviewed a number of ancillary revenue opportunities. As a result of which we particularly needed to enhance our hotel and car hire offerings,” said Carl Scholtz, Kulula’s Executive Manager of IT. “We turned to Clicks2Customers because of its reputation and expertise in online marketing and managing pay-per-click campaigns within the travel and tourism sector.”

Ivan Izikowitz, Managing Director, Clicks2Customers said, “We are delighted to be working with Kulula on its search strategy. It is a dynamic company and we will be working in partnership with them to deliver great results.”
