Porsche Reports April Sales in Canada

Boxster Sales Up 56 Percent

Porsche Cars Canada, importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne SUVs in Canada, today announced April sales of 226 units sold in Canada, representing a 3% decrease from the same period last year when sales were 233.

Porsche’s trendy mid-engine Boxster experienced a 56% increase in sales with 50 units sold in April 2008 vs. 32 sold in April 2007.

Year-to-date, sales in Canada are essentially on par with last year. So far sales are 632 versus 639 in 2007.

In a record setting month, dealers sold 75 Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned cars in April vs. 45 for the same period last year.
