TMP to Host ”Innovation Day”
General Press Releases May 14th, 2008
TMP Worldwide, the world’s largest independent recruitment advertising agency, announced that it will work with Google, whose innovative search technologies connect millions of people around the world, to help clients better understand and utilize search technology for recruitment purposes.
The focus of the effort will be a day-long forum on June 5th at Google’s campus in Mountain View, CA. Titled “Innovation Day,” the event will allow a select group of TMP clients to experience the synergies from combining Google’s search technologies with TMP’s interactive and creative service offerings — to produce successful recruitment campaigns.
“We’re extremely pleased to be able to provide our clients with access to Google’s knowledge and expertise,” said Michelle Abbey, President and CEO of TMP Worldwide. “We have an excellent working relationship with Google and are confident that the services and offerings demonstrated on ‘Innovation Day’ can be of significant value in helping clients attract qualified candidates.”
Ms. Abbey noted that the event is another example of TMP’s demonstrated leadership in and continued commitment to developing interactive recruitment solutions that take advantage of today’s pioneering and relevant technology applications.
“TMP continues to push the recruitment technology envelope, just as Google pushes the envelope in innovative search technology,” said Jason Katcher from Google. “They understand how new digital search tools can help companies better articulate their brand promise and attract/retain talented employees.”
