AudioSoft (www.audiosoft-usa.com) is showing off its multi-channel AudioPC-AV recording system and audio analytics software for the first time in North America at this week’s Port Security Conference, organized by TTC (www.technologytraining.com). The move comes after a period of considerable growth for the company’s U.S. operations.

A renowned innovator, AudioSoft was the first company to develop a PC-based digital voice recording solution and now records a wide variety of analog, digital and IP-based sensor inputs. Realizing that a recorder often fits within a complex data work-flow, AudioSoft also produces tailored software tools to enable you to easily retrieve data, regenerate what happened, and produce tamper-proof data that can be submitted in court.

Originally designed to help police in rapid-response hostage and siege situations, AudioPC-AV enables system integrators to provide an integrated audio/video/IP monitoring system. Unlike most closed systems such as a security DVR, AudioSoft’s programming libraries and XML interfaces simplify integration of the recorder into the overall security system.

Nick Porter, VP Sales and Marketing for AudioSoft said: “Border security is an emerging market for AudioSoft and complements our well-regarded work in defense and air traffic control. Some of our installs have included thousands of voice and video recording channels, with the inputs scattered all over the country! We like solving difficult recording problems and working in port security allows us to do that.”

AudioSoft is a recognized leader in the development of digital recording, playback and analysis systems for voice, video, sonar, IP, and data. Launched in 1995, AudioSoft’s systems are in use globally in many applications including data recorders for military aircraft, voice/radar recorders for air traffic control, and voice/audio recorders for law enforcement. AudioSoft’s highly integrated approach allows many channels to be recorded and regenerated seamlessly upon playback whilst its audio analytic solutions use advanced speech recognition algorithms to allow rapid identification of important data. AudioSoft’s local resources now include sales and technical support, and an expanding partner network.
