Taste of India at the London International Wine Fair

Champagne Indage to showcase their best wines in the upcoming London International Wine Fair (LIWF)

Mumbai, May 16, 2008: Champagne Indage Ltd (CIL) India’s pioneering and leading wine producing company is all geared up to showcase its range of exquisite wines at the London Wine Fair from May 20 – 21st , 2008. The makers of the famous ‘Chateau Indage Label’ will be the only Indian Wine Manufacturing company to represent the country at LIWF. Some of the brands to be showcased at the fair are Marquise De Pompadour, Tiger Hill, Indage Reserve, Chantilli, Riviera, Ivy and Omar Khayyam. In addition to that, the produces of CIL’s recently acquired wineries, Thachi and Loxton (Australia) will also be displayed at the Fair.

The London International Wine Fair brings together importers, merchants, producers, agents, restaurateurs, wholesalers, sommeliers, and wine makers from across the globe under one roof, therefore making it the single most important event in the world wine calendar. The event offers its visitors an opportunity to meet with over 1,300 exhibitors from every major wine producing country and taste their wines.

Highlights of the fair will include: the ‘Top 100 Tasting’, focusing on organic and biodynamic wines and an extensive schedule of seminars and tasting, designed to broaden the product land market knowledge of the average wine enthusiast. The fair is aiming to have as many as 20,000 wines available for tasting.
