Have you ever had to waste precious moments of your day wading through a long email message trying to find that one line that’s actually relevant to you?
Or
Have you ever had to send the same message multiple times because you wanted to include some confidential comments for some of the recipients which you didn’t want everyone involved to see?
Plano, Texas-based Vital, Inc. today announced the launch of new software add-on for Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail and AOL designed to solve these deficiencies in today’s email clients and many others.
Called “SplitEmail,” this patent pending email plug-in has two main functions, both designed to increase your productivity with email.
With Email Highlighter, you can highlight parts of a message for a particular recipient while leaving it un-highlighted for everyone else. This allows the sender to have recipients quickly focus in on parts of a message that are relevant to them and greatly cuts down on time wasted digging through a mountain of CC’d messages.
SplitEmail also allows you to send personalized email. Using this email add-on, the sender can mark sections of an email private and confidential for specific recipients. When the email is sent, each recipient is a sent a personalized message that only contains the message content that was meant for their eyes.
This is completely different from Bcc where the message content sent to all recipients is the same, and only the Bcc recipient name is hidden.
“The goal of this innovation was to completely change the way people communicate on a daily basis using email,” says Rohit Mehrotra, creator of SplitEmail. “This is Email 2.0 – The Next Generation Email. Something like this has never existed before and has the potential to revolutionize email communications.”
SplitEmail is currently available for Outlook 2003, 2007 on Windows XP, Vista and for the Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL when using IE 6.x or 7.x on Windows. SplitEmail has an introductory price of $47.00.
