– Vizada Also Reduces Price on Addvalue SABRE™ 1 BGAN Terminals —

Vizada, the leading provider of global satellite communications solutions with more market share on more satellite networks than any other provider, today announced it has reduced the pricing of its BGAN land mobile service in Latin America. Vizada has reduced the per megabyte tariff for BGAN service as well as the cost of Addvalue SABRE™ 1 terminals.

Users in the following countries will benefit from the price reduction: Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname and Venezuela. In addition, the price of the Addvalue SABRE™ 1 terminals has been significantly reduced to make the solution available to a wider base of users throughout Latin America. The new pricing takes affect immediately.

“Vizada negotiated a lower rate for BGAN service in Latin America enabling us to pass on significant savings to our service providers located here,” said Bob Baker, COO and President for Vizada Americas. “We’re confident that this will make BGAN satellite services more accessible to our customers in this important landmobile market.”

Customers using the Vizada BGAN service can set up a mobile broadband office in real time from anywhere in the world. The service supports both voice and data in areas with limited to no land line connectivity. The Addvalue SABRE™ 1 BGAN terminal supports the use of both voice and data at the same time and can transfer data at speeds up to 384 kbps. The device has built in Ethernet, Bluetooth and analog voice capabilities.

“The SABRE 1 BGAN worked wonderfully,” said current Vizada BGAN customer Dave Freeman, Executive Director of The Wilderness Classroom Organization during a recent trip through the Amazon. “We used it on a daily basis, and it saved us a ton of money and time, and allowed us to stay connected with our team back home in a way that we had never been able to do before.”

In addition to its’ regional operation center located in Rockville, Maryland, Vizada has a local sales office in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Vizada’s low cost BGAN offer is exclusively available from Vizada Service Providers.
