Web-Feet Research (WFR) will be conducting their Sixth Annual Non Volatile Memory Conference for 2008 titled, ‘If They Build It, Will They Buy?’ on July 21st at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, CA. Highlighting this year’s conference is a panel discussion on the general usage models in Enterprise SSD storage market. WFR has invited HP, Dell, and Concurrent to serve on the panel. Part of the discussion will include a presentation by our guest panelists on general findings or specific issues from their storage systems that do or could use SSDs. In past NVM Conferences, WFR has discussed SSDs (Solid State Drives) while SSD and Flash vendors have given their perspective; however, this year we are fortunate to receive information directly from the OEMs in discussing real usage findings.
Confirmed panelists include: Gary Kotzur, Technologist Storage Architecture for Dell, will be covering Enterprise offerings from Dell; from the HP Storage Works division, Jieming Zhu will speak on their Enterprise usage models in a general sense; Tim Dodge from Concurrent has committed to join the panel, rounding out an insightful and exciting program. Additional panelists will be announced as they confirm attendance.
Book your trip for the week, as our NVM one-day conference “If They Build It, Will They Buy?” on July 21st precedes Denali’s Memcon show to be held July 22-24th at the same location. Additional speakers for the event include key WFR personnel and invited guests providing in-depth presentations on a variety of topics: Economics and semiconductors; Flash marketing, technology, applications; Flash controllers, and SSDs vs HDDs. Registration is now open and forms are available for our clients on their Web-Feet Research client portal or by email.
