June 2, 2008 – New York - Tremor Media, the leading video advertising network and provider of the Acudeo video monetization platform for publishers, today announced that it will bring its expertise in video advertising and monetization to European markets with a strategic investment from the European Founders Fund.

In addition to the company’s global expansion, Tremor Media has also announced the appointment of Mark Pinney, former Chief Financial Officer and Chief Privacy Offer of TACODA, to its senior management team as global CFO.

The European Founders Fund, created by brothers Alexander, Marc and Oliver Samwer, provides investments and support through local experience with entrepreneurial companies that focus on the Internet and mobile industries. The EFF also invests in select later stage companies looking to expand beyond their domestic roots into the US, European and Chinese markets. “The explosion of digital video consumption and creation is a global phenomenon,” said Jason Glickman, CEO, Tremor Media. “Our success in helping publishers monetize their video assets, as well as developing best practices for online video advertising, has provided us with a solid framework for entering the broader, global advertising community. We are very excited to be working with the Samwer brothers and the EFF as we enter our next phase of growth as an international company”
