Borland Announces Results of 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders

Borland Software Corporation (NASDAQ:BORL), the global leader in Open Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), today announced results from its annual meeting of stockholders held on May 28, 2008 in Austin, Texas.
Stockholders re-elected John F. Olsen, William K. Hooper, Charles F. Kane, Bryan LeBlanc, T. Michael Nevens, Tod Nielsen and Robert M. Tarkoff to the Board of Directors.
Stockholders ratified the selection of KPMG LLP to continue to serve as Borland’s independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2008.
Borland did not receive the requisite number of votes to approve the proposal to provide the Board of Directors with the discretion to effect a reverse stock split of the common stock of the company.
