TeleportTown.com is a New and Unique, 3D, User Created, Web Portal

Like many web surfers, I hate reading and deciphering mounds of text to find the link that is going to take me where I want to go. I hate scrolling. I hate sites that cost money to use. I even hate sifting through Google’s results, something I have to do every day. And like many website owners, I hate paying for advertising. I hate the impersonal representation other web portals give me. And I hate how monotonous it is to use them. This is why I built Teleport Town.

At Teleport Town, users can submit a small .gif image that represents their website and their business. Other users can view an entire “Town” of these images, and quickly scan them to find the website or websites they want to visit. (A small description is also available for each image.)
Teleport Town is divided into categories called “Suburbs” which allow surfers to view all the sites in a given category at once.

Currently, Teleport Town is still in its infant stages. My vision is to create the most simple to use, customized, and versatile web portal on the net. Of course, for this to happen, the previous concepts must be proven. That’s why I’m marketing to sites like yours, (sites that have designer and technology conscious audiences.) This audience will be the first to jump on this website. As Teleport Town grows, I will market the site toward an increasingly broader audience.
