See who’s calling you the minute the phone rings, even if it’s across the room … talk comfortably on your home phone while making dinner …switch effortlessly between cell and home phone calls using one handset

Expanding upon its successful line of GE-branded DECT 6.0™ interference free phones, Thomson (Euronext Paris: 18453; NYSE: TMS) continues to innovate and design for diverse consumer needs and applications. Three groundbreaking new telephone products are now available at major retailers nationwide.

PhotoPhone with Picture Caller ID

Combining telecommunications practicality and advanced design, the new GE PhotoPhone with Picture Caller ID and DECT 6.0™ interference free technology displays the number and photo associated with a caller’s number. When not in use as a phone, it transforms into a stunning 7-inch digital picture frame with the ability to store 100 images on internal flash memory and even more with external media cards for expanded memory capabilities (multiple formats accepted).

Designed by Thomson in the U.S., the PhotoPhone is customizable with black and silver frames. The stylish modern lines and sleek finish ensure the frame will complement most any home décor. The PhotoPhone can be expanded up to four additional handsets so the phone can be integrated throughout the home, while also maintaining a position of prominence in the most popular living areas such as the kitchen, bedroom or living room.

Introduced to widespread critical enthusiasm at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show, the PhotoPhone (model 27956FE1) carries a suggested retail price of $139.99, with additional handsets available at a suggested retail price of $29.99 each (model 27911FE1).

Speakerphone/Intercom with GOOG-411

The ultimate GE DECT 6.0 phone for young families is a two-handset and one speakerbox cordless system with a dedicated two-way wireless Intercom that provides room monitoring and speakerphone capabilities. With a large call pick-up button and True Digital Sound for enhanced voice reception, the speakerphone is perfect for busy parents who literally have their hands full. The room monitor enables a user to listen in on other rooms in the house on any device, and the Intercom function provides for multi-way communication between different parts of the house. The system (Model GE28821FJ3) features the unique GOOG-411 button on the handsets for free one-touch business directory assistance calls.

Presented in rich gloss black with a striking “wave” design base station, the system is expandable up to six handsets and features a large easy-to-read LCD display and built-in clock/alarm. Call-ignore, a digital answering system with message playback speed control and polyphonic ring tones round out the package. The product is available at major retailers nationwide and has a suggested retail price of $99.00. Additional speakerphone units can be purchased individually for $39.99.

Cell Fusion Cell Gateway

The GE Cell Fusion “Cell Gateway” enables one-touch pairing and connection of up to two Bluetooth-enabled cell phones to any existing home phone system. Users just plug in the sleek and small base unit to the current phone system and pair up their cell and home phones, giving them the ability to make and receive cell phone calls from their regular phone handset.

The Cell Gateway has a suggested retail price of $79.99 and is available at major retailers nationwide.
