Intec Telecom Systems PLC, a leading supplier of billing and operations support systems to the global telecoms industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Thorburn as President, Global Sales. Andy will join Intec on June 30, 2008.
Andy joins Intec from Chronicle Solutions, where he was CEO, and prior to this, spent seven years in the Benchmark Capital Portfolio, holding senior leadership positions at Kalido, Orchestria and Impresse Corporations. He brings to Intec a wealth of experience in global sales management, business development, corporate strategy and marketing.

Previously in his career, Andy spent over 15 years with BT in a number of sales, service and general management positions. During this period, he held the position of General Manager for BT Corporate Clients, where he was responsible for increasing revenue from £200m to £300m in a 2-year period. Andy was also Sales and Business Development Director at Siemens Business Services where he was responsible for securing significant new business contracts and driving high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
