Calibra Innovation Announces its First Member – Pronea AS of Norway

After only two months of commercial operation, Calibra Innovation announces its first member. It is the progressive FTTH operator Pronea AS who has decided to become the first member of Calibra Innovation. The membership spans three years and brings substantial value to both parties.

“Pronea represents the ideal member for Calibra Innovation. They are agile, successful and they understand where they need to go to take the next step as a FTTH operator,” said Michael Engström, CEO of Calibra Innovation. “We believe that we will be able to help them move to the next level by bringing senior expertise in business development, strategic development and innovation.”

As part of the membership agreement the two parties have signed a bidirectional framework consulting agreements as well as an agreement on commercialization of Pronea’s concepts.

“Our role is to generate economies of scale for our members. We do so by allowing them to share investments, but also by helping the members to commercialize underutilized assets. Pronea’s Marketing Concept represents such an effort. It now becomes a part of the Calibra EDGE portfolio under which we have structured our business management offering and the Marketing concept fits nicely into our portfolio of knowledge products for strategy development,” said Michael.

For Pronea this means bringing its Marketing Concept up to a new level, providing Pronea with a wider range of expertise which completes the concept and makes it an even better tool for other FTTH operators to establish their operational business and access the market quick and easy. Furthermore, the membership and strategic alliance with Calibra Innovation provides Pronea with access to new markets and create business opportunities on a national and international level.
