New Releases of AIM Capture and Analytics Leverage New Architecture for Improved Scalability, Simplicity and Integration for Cost and Revenue Management
NXTcomm 2008
Booth SL6520

Razorsight Corporation, the leading provider of on-demand financial business intelligence solutions for communications, media and entertainment companies, today announced the launch of its new AIM 5.0 Next Generation Architecture. AIM 5.0 supports Razorsight’s mission of delivering on-demand solutions customized to support and automate the delivery and management of a plethora of next generation network offerings. AIM 5.0 uniquely leverages a single repository that contains all cost and revenue data, thereby providing customers with improved business intelligence and analytics while also delivering powerful executive dashboards to track real time key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to network cost, revenue leakage, and operational efficiency.

Razorsight is also unveiling the new releases of its flagship products AIM Capture and AIM Analytics, which are built on the AIM 5.0 Next Generation Architecture. Razorsight AIM Capture supports over 3,000 carrier billing formats and is the industry’s first, and only application that extracts, translates and loads line item details trapped in paper invoices, contracts, and other documents, thereby automatically bringing every Communications Service Provider (CSP) into a Zero Touch, 100 percent electronic environment for all cost data. AIM Analytics provides the first and only next generation platform for on-demand workflow automation, cost management and automated auditing and analysis. AIM Analytics allows Network Cost and Revenue Management groups to conduct audits, perform complex analyses, manage disputes, reconcile invoices, automatically allocate costs to general ledger accounts, and feed into accounting and ERP systems for automation of payments. Razorsight provides a comprehensive set of robust, automated audits for increased dispute savings and provides an exceptional ROI in less than a year.

By leveraging the AIM 5.0 Next Generation Architecture and the ease of its on-demand structure, AIM Capture and AIM Analytics can immediately be integrated into a CSP’s existing cost management and revenue assurance ecosystem by seamlessly integrating with order management, inventory, fulfillment, ERP, and usage feeds and systems.

“We’ve been working on this solution for several years, and I’m excited about delivering AIM 5.0, given the significant market share and momentum we’ve already captured with the previous platform,” said Charlie Thomas, Razorsight CEO. “AIM 5.0 is a revolutionary platform that further distinguishes Razorsight’s innovation and uniquely positions the company for successful global expansion. AIM 5.0 is the only solution that provides comprehensive support for the plethora of new NGN services CSPs are rolling out.”

New AIM Capture and AIM Analytics features enabled by the AIM 5.0 Next Generation Architecture include:

International Support – Enables support for global carriers through international invoice formats, multiple currency types and exchange rates, value added tax (VAT) details and allocation of VAT at the circuit level.

Executive Dashboards – Provides graphical trending of key metrics such as Global Expense Management, Dispute Resolution, Analyst Performance, and Financial Impacts directly to the desktop. Additionally, Razorsight’s Network Cost ScoreTM is a standard component in the dashboard that gives CFOs immediate access to significant performance metrics representing hundreds of millions if not billions in cost. AIM 5.0 also delivers a new package of standardized reports developed from best practices within Razorsight’s marquee customer base. These reports include an entire suite of cost and revenue management information for all cost and revenue data.

Plug and Play – More robust, extensible interfaces from the AIM 5.0 Razorsight Platform, make activations much easier with a highly configurable toolkit that allows seamless integration to a multitude of legacy systems that include inventory, order management, network usage, billing, supplier management, financial, ERP and others.

Web 2.0 – A close integration with Razorsight’s new user community portal facilitates the exchange of ideas, best practices, audits, shortcuts, and results comparison.

Supplier Management – A new supplier management portal provides a much easier and more automated invoice tracking, supplier performance management, and overall supplier management process.

Improved Product Integration - Single Sign On capabilities allow one set of credentials to be used for any AIM 5.0 application.

Intuitive Workflow – An entire new workflow schema and paradigm has been applied as a result of third-party consultants designing system layout, process, and end user functions around ease of use, making performing any function an intuitive, easy process.

Razorsight is demonstrating AIM Capture and AIM Analytics at booth number SL6520 at NXTcomm. Several customers are already utilizing the new releases and full deployment to all customers is scheduled for July.
