Showcase Your Talent in Seagate’s Precious Memories Competition for Journalists

Do you harbour artistic talent, perhaps a flair for photography or a skill with video? Seagate is calling on Indian journalists to share moments of their life that have been captured digitally in its Precious Memories competition, which opens in two weeks time.

Beginning 3rd July 2008, Indian journalists, photo-journalists and professional bloggers are invited to load an image or video depicting these experiences to the gallery at http://seagatememories.com/india . Winners will be determined by popular vote and will receive a Seagate hard drive and a cash bonus. The winning entries for India will then gain automatic entry into the Seagate Precious Memories Asia Pacific competition for a chance at even more significant prizes.

Entries will be accepted for two weeks from 3rd July 2008 until 17th July 2008 so take some now to think back to a moment that is a precious memory which you have captured digitally – it could be a university graduation, a holiday, a child’s first day at school or a great party. Be prepared and you could win some great prizes.

Online voting to determine the local winners will commence on 3rd July 2008 as well, so the earlier your entry is loaded the more chances you have to win. Once you have loaded your entry share the gallery website address http://seagatememories.com/india with your friends and family and encourage them to vote for your entry. Two lucky registered voters will take home a Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini hard drive (see website for details).
