Host DT catches up with rising pop-rock band Another Big Machine in the latest webisode of “The Skinny Dip” on Woozyfly.com

New York, NY—June 19, 2008—A long way from their home of Baton Rouge, LA, pop-rock band Another Big Machine stopped by the New York offices of Woozyfly.com as part of a series of radio interviews and promo opportunities in support of their soon to be released debut album…fingers crossed.

Another Big Machine was all set to release their debut album in May of 2007, even going so far as releasing their first single “Where We Belong” on Itunes in anticipation of the album. But as the looming drop date approached members became increasingly apprehensive about releasing a debut album that may not adequately represent the band’s musical goals. The album was never released.

An entire year later Another Big Machine is back and gearing up for an August 24, 2008 release of an entirely reworked album. Compared to “Where We Belong,” our only taste of the original debut, the songs on the new album are decidedly more pop with choruses so catchy you’ll be hard-pressed to get ‘em out of your head. The extra year the band spent refining their sound is apparent in the crisp, clean instrumentation that no longer strains to cross into alternative, but instead embraces its pop foundation while maintaining a slight and more natural edge.

Known as DT, the host of Woozyfly.com’s new web series “The Skinny Dip” gets the low down from the dirty South boys about the new album, new drummer, and life on the Redneck Riviera. In the process we find that the band members are as real and unpretentious as their music.
