Exacq is First to Offer Versatile Network Surveillance on Multiple Operating Systems, Web Browsers and Mobile Devices.

Exacq Technologies announced today the official release of the latest version of their exacqVision video surveillance software. exacqVision 3.0 utilizes today’s high definition megapixel network video surveillance cameras from manufacturers including ACTi, Arecont Vision, Axis, IQinvision, Panasonic, Sony and Vivotek. With the latest software installment, users can access exacqVision systems using a Windows, Linux or Apple Macintosh computer.

The server software—available for Windows or Linux—can be installed on commercial off-the-shelf servers or on exacqVision manufactured IP Camera Servers or Hybrid Servers. The exacqVision Hybrid system utilizes up to 64 network cameras plus up to 32 analog cameras on a single server. This allows users to leverage existing legacy surveillance cameras and infrastructure which provides flexibility and reduced costs.

Multiple exacqVision servers with up to 96 cameras on each system can be accessed simultaneously via any single copy of the client software which can now be installed on Macintosh computers along with Windows and Linux PCs. In addition, video from the same servers can be accessed via any major web browser (including Firefox, Explorer, Safari and Opera) or mobile device with internet access.
