· License for bathing attire and swim accessories within German-speaking region
Dive like Olly: EM.Entertainment GmbH has signed BECO-Beermann GmbH & Co. KG as a licensee for new license product Dive Olly Dive! (known as Tauch Timmy Tauch! in Germany). One of Europe’s leading providers of bathing attire and swim accessories, BECO-Beermann has secured extensive marketing rights for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The long-term agreement with BECO-Beermann encompasses a host of licensed products for babies, toddlers and kids. The portfolio covers everything from bathing suits, life jackets and bathing shoes, to armbands, flippers, goggles, snorkels, and dive rings. The Dive Olly Dive! line will be available from spring 2009 in sporting goods shops, department stores, children’s specialty shops and in the boutiques of large waterparks.
Dive Olly Dive! is an imaginative and colorful 3D CGI animation series for children aged from five to eight. It follows the fun-filled underwater escapades of Olly and Beth, two young research submarines-in-training. The two live in a deep-sea research center known as SURF–the Special Underwater Research Facility, where they experience the joys and challenges of life in their underwater world, much in the same way that children experience life in their world. The TV series features an incredibly lifelike underwater world, along with storylines that educate children on the delicate nature of the ecosystems that exist beneath the oceans. The adventure series made its German TV premiere in October 2007 on KI.KA and since then has become one of the highest-rated shows on the network.
BECO-Beermann, based in Bad Salzuflen in Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia, is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of textiles and accessories for all activities in and on water – for leisure, fitness and sport. The range stretches from the latest swimwear and fancy accessories to full equipment for serious swimmers and extremely successful aqua fitness machines.
As exclusive licensing agency, EM.Entertainment markets the merchandising rights to Dive Olly Dive! in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on behalf of licensor Taffy Entertainment, LLC., part of The MoonScoop Group.
