New York, NY—July 18, 2008—On Saturday, July 19th, Soul Mafia will be rocking Joe’s Pub for the late night at 11pm. A unique amalgamation of a bluesy saxophone, deafening drums, fierce rap lyrics and inspirational choruses, makes Soul Mafia different than any other act on the music scene.
The band, lead by saxophonist, guitarist, and rapper G.C., beckons inspiration from past. Their repertoire includes themes of inspiration and reminiscence of life growing up in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and Ft. Greene. Songs can be heard on Soul Mafia’s new, self-produced album entitled Red Line.
Guaranteed to be a distinctive performance filled with energy and compassion, Soul Mafia at Joe’s Pub will not be a show to miss.
