Former Chief Technology Officer Returns to InfoPro

InfoPro Incorporated, an information technology (IT) services company serving government and commercial clients, today announced that James Yan has rejoined the company as executive vice president and chief consulting officer. In his new position, Yan will develop and implement InfoPro’s business strategies and manage the company’s IT consulting services.

Prior to returning to InfoPro, Yan was program manager at SRA International for one of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s largest enterprise resource planning (ERP) modernization efforts, the Web Based Supply Chain Management project. Previously, Yan was chief technology officer at InfoPro and vice president at Technology Solutions Company.

“James brings a wealth of management experience and technical expertise as the foundation for his new leadership position at InfoPro,” said Sue Graham, InfoPro’s chief executive officer. “We are delighted to welcome James back to develop and implement our company’s business strategies and focus our IT consulting services on quality and growth.”

Yan has more than 27 years of experience managing large IT and ERP modernization projects in the public and private sectors. During his tenure as chief technology officer at InfoPro, Yan established InfoPro’s SAP Center of Excellence and initiated the company’s independent verification and validation (IV&V) practice.

An expert in large SAP projects, Yan’s clients have included the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection and the Internal Revenue Service, ExxonMobil, MCI, Marconi Communications, Caterpillar, and Borden Chemical Company. Earlier in his career, Yan held several IT architect and technical positions with Mobil Oil Corporation, MITRE, and IBM. Yan earned a B.A. degree in Computer Science from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Hawaii.
