Xerox Pairs High-Speed Custom Motorcycle With High-Quality Printing System

Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) will rev up the excitement around its high-quality monochrome Xerox Nuveraâ„¢ Digital Production System with a marketing program that pairs it with a high-speed custom motorcycle built by California-based bike designer Arlen Ness.

The bike will highlight many of the Xerox Nuvera system’s features – quality, customization, speed and performance – with head-turning imagery and design work. The Xerox motorcycle, named “Nu-Ness” – a combination of the “Nu” in Nuvera and Ness, tied to the naming tradition of custom bikes created by Ness and his son Cory – will feature a fine detail paint job with the kind of black-and-white contrasts, halftones and line work that’s found in monochrome documents produced on Nuvera systems.

Known as one of the world’s most innovative builders of customized motorcycles, Ness turned a hobby that started in his garage in the 1960s into Arlen Ness Enterprises, a multimillion-dollar family business with a 70,000-square-foot headquarters in Dublin, Calif.

“Our business philosophy is ‘always innovate, never imitate,’ and the Xerox Nuvera system reflects the same kind of innovation,” said Ness. “This bike will draw attention on the road or wherever it goes. Today’s bikers span the social, cultural and economic spectrum. Underneath the helmet you’re likely to find recreational riders as well as doctors, lawyers and successful business people from all kinds of industries.”
