IBM Opens Research Centers to Business Partners
Demonstrating its commitment to enabling innovation, IBM for the first time is opening access for its Business Partners to one of its most valuable assets — intellectual capital represented by the scientists and engineers in its world-class Research division.
Qualified Business Partners now have an opportunity to collaborate with IBM’s leading researchers and industry experts to deliver more innovative solutions to broader range of clients, including small and medium businesses. This program, which will be launched in the second quarter, is being offered to partners through IBM’s PartnerWorld Industry Networks (PWIN), a set of industry-focused resources designed to help partners develop, market and sell solutions.
“The Research division has always been a huge differentiator for IBM and we want to encourage our partners to tap into that wealth of knowledge and expertise to help them be more innovative in their markets,” said Buell Duncan, general manager, ISV and Developer Relations, IBM. “Collaborative innovation is going to be a driving force in the global economy and this program will enable IBM and its partners to be at the forefront of this shift.”
