Net profit stands at Rs. 0.96 Crores for quarter ended 30th June 2008

New Delhi – Avaya GlobalConnect, one of India’s leading business communications solutions provider, announced its quarter results for quarter ended 30th June 2008. The company has recorded Gross Sales/Income of Rs. 144.12 Cr and a net profit of Rs.0.96 Cr as compared to the Gross Sales/Income of Rs. 140.47 Cr and a net profit of Rs.9.29 Cr, in corresponding previous period. The profit before tax (PBT) reported for quarter ended June-08 stands at Rs. 2.05 Cr as compared to the profit before tax (PBT) of Rs. 15.87 Cr for the corresponding previous period.

The Company has recorded Consolidated Gross Sales/Income of Rs. 160.58 Cr and Consolidated net profit of Rs. 1.86 Cr for quarter ended June-08. The Consolidated profit before tax (PBT) stands at Rs. 2.95 Cr.

For period upto Q3FY08, Company has recorded Gross Sales/Income of Rs. 426.15 Cr. Profit before tax (PBT) reported for the period upto Q3FY08, stands at Rs.21.80 Cr and the net profit for the same period is Rs. 13.11 Cr.

For period upto Q3FY08, Company has recorded Consolidated Gross Sales/Income of Rs. 473.71 Cr. Consolidated Profit before tax (PBT) reported for the period upto Q3FY08, stands at Rs.21.56 Cr and the net profit for the same period is Rs.12.86 Cr.

Major Highlights: Quarter ended on 30th June, 2008

- The company has recorded Gross Sales/Income of Rs.144.12 Cr. and a net profit of Rs. 0.96 Cr.

- The profit before tax (PBT) reported for this quarter stands at Rs.2.05 Cr and the net profit for the same period is Rs. 0.96 Cr.
