Macromedia Flash Lite and Contribute presented with Productivity Awards

Macromedia (Nasdaq: MACR) today announced that CMP Media’s Software Development Jolt Product Excellence Awards selected Macromedia Flex 1.5 as Best Web Development Tool and Macromedia Captivate as Best Utilities Tool. In addition, Macromedia Flash Lite 1.1 and Macromedia Contribute 3 were given Productivity Awards for their respective categories of Best Mobile Development Tool and Best Web Development Tool.

For the past 15 years, Software Development Jolt Product Excellence and Productivity Awards have been presented annually to products that have jolted the industry with their significance and made the task of creating software faster, easier, and more efficient. The Jolt Award winners are chosen by a team of Software Development magazine editors, columnists, and industry gurus.
