Saturday, March 18, 2006: New Delhi: Kodak India Pvt. Ltd. has launched Kodak EASYSHARE V570, the world’s first dual lens digital camera, in India. EASYSHARE V570, with proprietary KODAK RETINA Dual Lens technology, wraps an ultra-wide angle lens of 23 mm and an optical zoom lens of 39 to 117 mm into a small, sleek package less than an inch.
The 5-megapixel EASYSHARE V570 incorporates features like wide-angle panorama stitching and advanced video performance. Its in-camera panorama stitching capability automatically combines three pictures into a panorama photograph. Users can use the ultra-wide view in panorama scene to take a 180-degree vista with just three shots.
EASYSHARE V570, with advanced video performance, makes allows users to shoot all types of action, capturing maximum of the scene with an ultra-wide angle. Its advanced MPEG-4 compression allows for recording of TV-quality video at up to 30 frames per second (fps). Built-in image stabilisation technology brings down on-screen shaking from unintentional hand and camera movement. The camera also offers an optical zoom feature for video including auto focus. The users can select any frame in a video, then save and print it as a `freeze frame’ still picture in seconds. Besides, EASYSHARE V570 comes loaded with numerous other features and options.
