Houston Training Program Follows Successful Expansion into Chicago Last Year and the Availability of EnCase® On Demand Online Training Last Month

Guidance Software Inc. (NASDAQ:GUID), The World Leader in Digital Investigations™, announced that it has expanded the availability of its world-class classroom training in digital investigations to Houston, Texas. Capitalizing on space in the company’s existing Houston office, the new training program will address the ever-increasing demand for digital investigation training in Houston—and Texas as a whole—in the areas of enterprise investigations (internal investigations, eDiscovery, data audit) and forensic investigations (law enforcement and consultant investigations).

Building on the success of Guidance Software’s new training program in Chicago, Illinois in 2007—which has trained over 500 individuals to date and offered more than 35 courses—the new Houston training offering joins similar programs at Guidance Software facilities in Los Angeles, Washington, DC and London, as well as in training partner facilities in Canada, The Netherlands, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and other US cities. It also joins all of the courses made available last month when Guidance Software launched the EnCase® On Demand program so that investigators could train online from anywhere in the world and at their own convenience.
