Researchers learn sophisticated image analysis techniques using their own images
Media Cybernetics, the scientific imaging software company, has added an exciting, new tool to their website that enables individuals to upload their images and receive a free image processing consultation. This new image upload feature gives researchers the opportunity to describe their imaging challenge and receive feedback on how they can accomplish their desired outcome using image processing tools.
This tool allows Media Cybernetics’ representatives to consult with and train researchers-using their own images- resulting in a significantly reduced learning curve. Researchers benefit immediately, improving their research processes through the use of advanced image analysis techniques, including counting objects, tracking the movement of objects, rendering in 3-dimensions, applying measurements, removing blur, or aligning images. Media Cybernetics is the creator of the ground-breaking scientific imaging software package Image-Pro Plus. The Image-Pro software line includes a variety of tools that are used to increase accuracy and automate research, development, and quality processes in both life science and industrial imaging facilities. In addition to the Image-Pro line, Media Cybernetics also offers the well-known AutoQuant image deconvolution software package. These software packages and others will be used to perform the image processing consultations.
As a member of the Microimaging Applications Group, Media Cybernetics representatives have access to a wide range of image capture, analysis and management tools. The Microimaging Applications Group (MAG) comprises five imaging leaders – Media Cybernetics, Gatan, Photometrics, QImaging, and MAG Biosystems. These technology partners work independently as well as in synergy to offer a range of solutions for microimaging applications.
