Digital Check, a leading provider of desktop check scanners for the remote deposit capture and branch automation industry, today announced that Alex Trombetta has been named as managing director of its international sales division. In this position, Trombetta is responsible for channel partner programs in markets outside of the U.S. and overseeing Digital Check’s international customers.

With more than 20 years of sales and management experience with startup and established companies in the technology sector, Trombetta also brings extensive international awareness to the company having conducted business in more than 20 countries. Before joining Digital Check, Trombetta served as CEO and vice president of sales for CTS North America, a subsidiary of CTS, a manufacturer of cash and check solutions for the financial industry.

As sales manager of U.S. corporate accounts and later region manager of North America for Bull HN Information Systems, one of Europe’s leading Internet technology companies, Trombetta developed and implemented a worldwide OEM and U.S. channel strategy for a line of industrial printers. Under his leadership, the North American and OEM business grew to become the company’s most strategic region with major customers in North America, Europe and Asia. Trombetta began his career with Honeywell Information Systems, a technology and manufacturing company that provides aerospace products and services, control technologies, automotive products, turbochargers and specialty materials, as sales manager.
