Review the taxpayer protections signed into law by Governor Schwarzenegger (AB 3034) as well as the local ramifications of Proposition 1A.
Update on “Destination Lindbergh.” The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, and the City of San Diego are currently working together to develop a master plan for Lindbergh Field to improve transportation options to the airport. A key component of this plan is the possible Intermodal Transportation Center that would provide direct connections to the airport, bus, bus rapid transit, flyaway services, trolley, commuter rail, high-speed rail and other transportation modes.
Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report. Staff will present a report on the feasibility of achieving zero greenhouse gas emissions for the operations of the 220 mile-per-hour electric train system.
