Success for both BusinessSolve and NetSimplicity scheduling solutions drives expansion into new geographical regions

1 September 2008, London, UK – BusinessSolve has today announced that it is set to further expand its global presence following a distribution and product integration agreement with NetSimplicity, a division of Asure Software (NASDAQ: ASUR) a leading provider of workforce management scheduling software solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, NetSimplicity will offer BusinessSolve’s award-winning Workspace Manager as the NetSimplicity Mobile Workforce Manager for resale in the United States. Mobile Workforce Manager can be easily integrated with NetSimplicity’s leading Meeting Room Manager room scheduling solution, or offered as a stand-alone solution.

Commenting on the agreement between the two companies, Nigel Reading, Business Development Director for BusinessSolve said: “With its market dominance in the U.S., NetSimplicity is ideally suited to offering, implementing and supporting Mobile Workforce Manager. In Europe, under the BusinessSolve Work Space Manager brand, the solution has already enjoyed considerable success with the user community stating that the cost savings in terms of real estate, energy and support services are considerable. We are confident that NetSimplicity will replicate this sales success in the U.S.” He added: “There are many compelling synergies between BusinessSolve and NetSimplicity. Both companies have established, market leading solutions, and both share a pragmatic approach to addressing customer needs and delivering and supporting a first-class scheduling solution.”

Against the backdrop of today’s challenging resource and credit environment and the need to lower corporate carbon footprints, many leading companies and organisations are reducing their real estate costs and energy consumption by downsizing to smaller, more cost-effective premises. Downsizing is often a catalyst for companies to adopt and encourage remote working and hot desking working practises.

Mobile Work Force Manager enables flexible working via hoteling (reservation-based unassigned seating) and hot desking (reservation-less unassigned seating) to be applied successfully. Employees can easily pre-book desks and other essential office resources in advance via a web browser or via an on-site, touch screen panel, when travelling between facilities. The ability to pre-book a designated desk overcomes the main objection to hot desking; the uncertainty of knowing what work-related resources and desks will be available upon arrival at work. Easy to integrate with existing scheduling solutions, Mobile Workforce Manager can be offered to ensure companies can realise their investment by improving utilisation of expensive workspace, while offering employees the benefits of increased mobility and flexibility.

To enable companies to develop a better understanding of how resources and facilities are currently used, Mobile Workforce Manager also provides detailed management information, thus enabling informed decisions to be made about short-term and long-term future building needs.

“With energy costs rising globally, companies and organisations across the U.S. are cutting costs, creating demand for solutions that make it easy to hotdesk. As a result, Mobile Workforce Manager has already generated significant interest both from existing NetSimplicity clients, as well as new prospects. With our knowledge of this market and industry, we are ideally suited to fulfilling this demand,” said Nancy Harris, Chief Operating Officer at Asure Software.

Across Europe, BusinessSolve’s scheduling solutions have been deployed by companies in the following sectors: Accountancy, Consulting, Financial Services, Insurance Services, Property and Facilities Management, Manufacturing and Retail, Legal Services, Government and Local authorities.
