Seagate Extends Market Reach By Adding Key Distributor In China

In a move to further strengthen its position as the world’s number one hard drive provider, Seagate Technology (NYSE: STX), today announced it has appointed Xander as a key distributor for enhancing its business development in China. Under the agreement, Xander becomes a national distributor of Seagate hard drives and a key part of Seagate’s distribution strategy in the expansive Chinese market.

The addition of Xander as an authorized distributor is evidence of Seagate’s continuing push to increase business opportunities for a growing number of channel partners. Seagate’s best-in-class hard drives for Enterprise, Desktop, Mobile Computing, and Consumer Electronics applications will provide Xander the opportunity of reaching a broader range of customers.
