DBMoto™ and Allora™ Add Boost to Intelligent Data Mart Strategy, Making Data Easily Accessible from Production Databases
JNetDirect, an expert component software company, and HiT Software®, Inc., a leader in data integration, synchronization and replication products, today announced a joint partnership to make HiT Software products available through JNetDirect’s sales organization. JNetDirect will distribute HiT Software’s data integration products as part of a business intelligence and data management strategy designed to relieve pressure in bottlenecked production system data. The strategy helps mid-sized to large organizations streamline critical data access through smart replication into distributed datamarts for specialized analysis and reporting functions.
“One of the top priorities for IT groups today is to make information more accessible, more quickly. There is an increasing amount of data generated by production databases and this presents a huge problem that scales exponentially when business analysis depends on timely updates,” said Scott Raspa, VP of Sales at JNetDirect. “We are very pleased to be able to offer HiT Software’s mature data replication and XML transformation products to our customers who need a proven data management solution that is easy to use and doesn’t require a team of consultants!”
DBMoto is a popular data replication, synchronization and integration product that migrates and transforms data among heterogeneous databases. It specializes in supporting Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and DB2 transactional replications and is widely used today to preserve the integrity of production data while making the data available quickly and easily to multiple targets, on various platforms. With an intuitive graphical user interface, any IT manager or administrator can easily manage data replication and flow.
Allora is an extremely flexible, powerful data mapping product for migrating and transforming XML to relational database structure. In situations where organizations need to share data with external business applications or customers/partners, Allora plays a key role in simplifying data mapping and automating what can look like daunting data management tasks to everyday IT managers. Allora offers a graphical user interface and a workflow manager, separating various tasks to allow the IT manager or administrator the flexibility to prioritize data process flow.
Both products can be installed in a separate location from the target and source databases, allowing cost of ownership savings and remote management capabilities.
“HiT Software recognizes the value in making comprehensive data management solutions accessible from one source, and we look forward to supporting JNetDirect’s solutions for its customer base,” said Andrea Mantovani, Director of Channels and Partnerships at HiT Software. “JNetDirect has an established reputation, and is a trusted partner for us.”
