Clive Bowles appointed to lead VEGA’s financial services consulting offering

18 September 2008 – VEGA, a Finmeccanica company, has appointed Clive Bowles, an expert in financial services consulting, to head up its evolving consulting area focused on the finance industry.

Clive founded IDOM Consulting (which was sold to Misys in 2004), and has worked at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, as well as several international investment and retail banks. He has a strong business background in the financial services industry and over 15 years’ experience of IT consulting and software development in the banking industry worldwide.

In his new role, Clive will draw upon the Group’s cross-sector experience in building secure information architectures, and its SAP consulting expertise from Germany.

Looking to the future, Clive said: “I can see significant potential in applying VEGA’s leadership in secure systems gained in the defence and government sectors to the financial services industry, and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
