Transamerican Selects IBM for Outstanding Print Quality
Transamerican Mailing and Fulfillment, Inc. has installed an IBM Infoprint 4100 production printer at its Escondido, California facility which it says delivers improved print quality over a competitor’s system. Transamerican uses the Infoprint 4100 with Infoprint Manager for Windows® to print personalized letters, postcards and financial statements for a wide variety of customers.
“We pride ourselves on delivering the very best in customer satisfaction by assuring that each customer’s job is done correctly, on-time and at the right price,” said Heather Benjamin, vice president of operations for Transamerican. “The Infoprint 4100 delivers superior image quality at high speeds. With 600 dot per inch resolution on the IBM production laser printer, Transamerican can now offer high-quality, high-resolution type and graphics to customers,” said Benjamin. “In fact, we have customers who require that their jobs be printed on the 4100 for its superior grayscales and blacker blacks. We’re also impressed with IBM’s commitment to direct mail companies. They have been the most responsive hardware vendor we’ve worked with in terms of service and support.”
Transamerican says the Infoprint 4100’s crisp resolution for graphics and financial graphs means they can save on having to stock preprinted forms. They say they have the flexibility to print high quality variable data and customize jobs on the fly.
“We’re dedicated to working side-by-side with direct mailers, book publishers, service bureaus and transaction clients to deliver top-notch products and services,” said Chris Reid, commercial print offerings manager for IBM’s Printing Systems Division. “Transamerican is an innovator and a leader in their field. We’re pleased to deliver on their requirements for high quality and versatility in production print.”
