With compliance top of the agenda, leading storage experts back the launch of Open-Tec

With compliance a top IT priority for this year (Datamonitor), leading storage experts are behind the launch of Open-Tec (www.open-tec.com), an expert in compliant data management, whose flagship Cstore™ solution has been described by Bloor Research as having “…major disruptive market potential.”

Open-Tec’s founder is Robert Houghton, a leading industry figure with over 20 years experience in providing enterprise consulting around storage, backup and retrieval. He designed and developed Cstore™ from the ground up to exceed the international and UK ISO/TR15801, and BSI BIP 0008 which are aimed at maximising the evidential weight of data. Peter Howes, co-author of BSI BIP 0008, was in fact a design consultant and advisor during the development of the application.
