Laird Technologies Introduces New 5.0GHz Vertically Polarized Base Station Antennas for WiMax

Antenna Family Offers 60-Degree, 90-Degree, and 120-Degree Versions

The antenna family includes a 60-degree, 90-degree, and 120-degree version, offering sector coverage options.

Laird Technologies utilizes state-of-the-art design tools to make the antennas fully compliant with ETSI specifications. All three base station antennas offer 4.9 – 5.9GHz full-band coverage and offer null fill below the horizon ensuring uniform energy distribution to each user within each cell.

These new base station antennas offer a patented beam shaper, as well as well-controlled side lobes that reduce interference and provide coverage in high-density areas. Additional features include high-strength UV-stable radome and rugged carrier-class construction, making the units ideal for large carrier-class deployments.

The 5.0GHz Vertically Polarized Base Station Antennas are ideal for any carrier or Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) supplier deploying WiMax, as well as other uses in the WiMax, Broadband Wireless Access, and WISP markets.
