HP ProCurve opens Proof-of-Concept Lab in Bangalore

Bangalore, India, 01, October 2008 – HP ProCurve Networking today announced that it has opened a Proof-of-Concept (POC) Lab in Bangalore to enable enterprise customers to simulate and test secure standards-based best-in-class unified wired and wireless network infrastructures.

The POC Lab will showcase live demonstrations of ProCurve’s extensive line of proven networking hardware and software solutions based on the ProCurve Adaptive Networks architecture. The lab set up allows enterprise customers to conduct pre-deployment testing of new networking capabilities and solutions in controlled simulated environments before making a purchase decision.

The ProCurve POC Lab is located at the premises of ProCurve’s partner, Nirmal Infotech. It is built on ProCurve’s latest technologies that include the high-performance and high-availability ProCurve 8200 core switch, wireless edge services modules, wireless access points and network security management software such as the ProCurve Identity Management. With this highly available network infrastructure, customers will be able to test out unified converged wired and wireless networking solutions.
