HIMACS has released the advanced API functions on their P2P product F-Orc. The function is named F-OSH(Fission Orchestra Symphonic Harmonizer) API.
On 29th September, HIMACS has announced that API functions are added to their P2P product F-Orc, which is aiming to enable efficiencies and securities of corporate data transfer.
F-Orc is the software product to realize efficient and secure data transfer, especially huge amount of data and the tremendous number of destinations through the Internet. F-Orc can show the excellent capabilities of the data transfers in the following fields,
Digital signage: for the TV monitors such as in the train component and in the supermarket shops.
E-learning: for the TV monitors in factories, complex offices, and local branch offices.
KIOSK terminal: for KIOSK terminal in various shops and public spaces.
F-Orc provides the following system advantages,
The efficient data transfer function enable to reduce dramatically the resources such as servers and network. F-Orc’s data transfers methodology is very efficient comparing to C/S method.
F-Orc configures the data transfer topologies automatically; therefore this reduces the cost of system operation.
F-Orc provides the various secure functions to enable the BtoB capabilities.
F-Orc provides not only file transfers but also streaming and live streaming functions.
The new extended function provides the advanced APIs of the Conductor (server) and of the Satellite Server (client), which enables the customer’s system to utilize F-Orc’s P2P function.
F-OSH consists of two components, F-OSH Conductor API and F-OSH Client API. F-OSH Conductor API provides the XML/HTTP interface and F-OSH Client API provides the XML/HTTP and Java interfaces.
HIMACS development team will expand the further interface capabilities.
