Indian Commercial Printer Buys KODAK NEXPRESS 2100 Plus Press and KODAK NEXGLOSSER Unit at IPEX

Patel Digitals, a commercial printer located in Ahmemabad, India, purchased a KODAK NEXPRESS 2100 Plus digital production color presses at IPEX on Wednesday, improving its ability to meet increased demand for high quality, short run color printing. The printer also purchased a KODAK NEXGLOSSER unit to add higher impact to its customers’ materials.

“The NEXPRESS 2100 Plus press will help us attract new customers by improving our quality and turnaround time on short run color jobs,” explained Khagesh Patel, Managing Director, Patel Digitals. “We spent considerable time at IPEX comparing digital color production presses from different vendors. The capabilities of the NEXPRESS 2100 Plus press made it the right fit for us.”

Patel Digitals, a recipient of the 2006 Digital Asia Pacific Award for poster printing, specializes in serving the printing needs of pharmaceutical, telecommunications and advertising firms. The printer previously used offset printing to produce short run color jobs. The NEXPRESS 2100 Plus presses will help Patel Digitals quickly grow its digital print business by allowing the company to produce short runs more cost effectively, and by giving it variable data color and on demand printing capabilities.
