Akamai President and CEO Paul Sagan to Preside over the Opening of The NASDAQ Stock Market

Akamai celebrates 10 years of incorporation at NASDAQ Opening

Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the leader in powering rich media, dynamic transactions and enterprise applications online, today announced that Paul Sagan, president and chief executive officer, will open The NASDAQ Stock Market in New York tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7 at 9:30 a.m. (all times are Eastern time).

The event will spotlight the 10th anniversary of Akamai’s incorporation and nearly nine years of listing with NASDAQ. To learn more about the key milestones in the Company’s growth and participation in events that have shaped the Internet, please visit http://www.akamai.com/10years.

Mr. Sagan will join NASDAQ Chief Executive Officer, Bob Greifeld, in presiding over the Market Open.
