Emirates Shipping Line wins coveted SCM Logistics Excellence Award 2008

Mumbai, 14 October, 2008: Emirates Shipping Line received the accolade by winning the Asia Pacific Shipping Liner Excellence Award at the 4th Supply Chain Management (SCM) Logistics Excellence Award 2008 held at Singapore on 14 October 2008.

The award was made after an extensive nomination, submission and evaluation process by an eminent panel of judges comprising experts from the international supply chain and logistics industry, before the winner was decided and announced.

Vikas Mohammed Khan, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Shipping Line received the award on behalf of Emirates Shipping Line.

The award programme is an annual event held in collaboration with the Annual SCM Logistics World representing the logistics and supply chain industry.
