Kodak and Danka Sponsor Meeting of College and University Printers
Kodak continues its support of the in-plant print market as a co-sponsor, along with Danka, of the 43rd annual meeting of ACUP, the Association of College and University Printers. ACUP 2006 is hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) April 30 – May 4 at the Sheraton Colonial Hotel and Golf Club in Wakefield, Mass., just north of Boston.
“We are excited to have support from industry leaders such as Kodak and Danka as we gather to discuss the challenges and opportunities our members face,†said Steven Dimond, ACUP host and Manager, Copy Technology Centers at MIT. “Our membership is very excited about the activities planned for this year’s conference.â€
According to Dimond, the conference will focus on leadership issues that managers can use to enhance their standing in the campus community. Sessions will touch on ways to evaluate, adjust and reshape one’s shop to respond to the evolving needs of faculty, staff and students. The ACUP vendor exhibit will showcase finishing, document management, copyright and print technologies, and attendees will tour the MIT campus and Copy Technology Center. Kodak and Danka are sponsoring the conference’s premier event, a reception at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum. Kodak will also print the ACUP annual conference program guide on a KODAK NEXPRESS 2500 digital production color press.
