Stuff Live! 2008 will see the first ever UK showcase of Tom Tom’s brand new ‘connected’ GO LIVE satellite navigation systems, the TomTom GO 540 LIVE, GO 740 LIVE and GO 940 LIVE, as well as the best-selling TomTom ONE and TomTom XL ranges.

The TomTom GO 940 LIVE, GO 740 LIVE and GO 540 LIVE, which were announced at the IFA show earlier this year, feature dynamic route guidance and plug & play connectivity, and will be on display to demonstrate their valuable new information services for motorists.

Each model in the TomTom GO LIVE range comes with a range of live services including TomTom HD Traffic™ for real-time traffic information, fixed and mobile safety camera alerts, fuel price search and local Google search.

TomTom’s smart routing system is called IQ Routes™ which adjusts your route based on real, historical travel time information for every road, every hour, every day of the week. This ensures a much more accurate estimated time of arrival, and the smartest, most efficient route every time.

All products come with TomTom’s wide range of award-winning navigation features, Map Share – TomTom’s unique map improvement technology. In addition, the advanced lane guidance feature now gives drivers even clearer instructions at complex junctions.

With safety in mind, the TomTom GO LIVE series now also features voice command and control in addition to existing safety options, providing customers with more safety features than any other navigation device. For the first time, users can plan a route or make a phone call just using their voice. More than 100 tasks can be activated by voice, so drivers can keep their eyes focused on the road ahead.

The new TomTom range will be available in UK, Germany, France, Netherlands and Switzerland. Prices start at £299, including a three month trial of LIVE Services, and a subscription of £7.99 per month thereafter.
