Dell today announced the LatitudeTM D520, its newest entry-level notebook designed to maximize the productivity and technology budgets of small businesses and schools. Customers can configure the new system with their choice of Intel® Core DuoTM or Celeron® M processors, 14.1-inch or 15-inch displays and Wi-Fi networking capabilities.
Business users will appreciate the dual-battery configuration option, enabling extended computing without the need for a recharge, and an integrated microphone for VoIP applications. Schools establishing Intelligent ClassroomsTM , high tech, interactive learning centers based on computers and related technology, will value the integrated IEEE 1394 port and S-video ports. The Latitude D520 can also deliver investment protection since it is designed to support the Microsoft® Windows® VistaTM operating system and the emerging 802.11n Wi-Fi standard.2
Dell’s RoadReadyTM -branded quality and reliability testing helps ensure the Latitude D520 is adaptable and resilient-ready to operate in a variety of environments.
