Xerox Launches Three Durable Specialty Paper Products for Novel Digital Printing Applications
The day may come when your airline meal arrives on a tear-resistant placemat personalized with your name, according to Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX), which today announced three new types of specialty papers that can be used in Xerox digital production color and black-and-white presses.
Based on synthetic materials, these “papers” stretch the notion of what can be created and printed on a digital press. They can be used to produce everything from weather-resistant planter tags that describe a plant’s growing habits and show the blossom color, to customized “Do Not Disturb” hotel doorknob signs, to removable window signs that promote sales.
The three upgraded lines of Xerox paper – Polyester Paper, DuraPaperâ„¢ and Removable Signage – are designed for use by graphic communications professionals and other customers. They provide an array of extra-durable substrates, opening new opportunities to get really creative when printing digital jobs.
