AMIT NATH TO TAKE OVER AS TREND MICRO COUNTRY MANAGER FOR INDIA AND SAARC

New Delhi, October 21, 2008: Trend Micro, Inc. (TSE: 4704), a global leader in Internet content security, has announced that Amit Nath will take over as the country manager for Trend Micro in India and SAARC. Earlier Amit has led Trend Micro Value and Volume Business and had responsibility for Channels.

Welcoming Amit in his new role as the Country Manager – India & SAARC, Mr. Mahendra Negi, Chief Financial Officer of Trend Micro, said, “Trend Micro is a 100% channel-led company. Amit takes over the mantle from Mr. Niraj Kaushik. Says Mr. Negi, “In his six years at Trend Micro, Niraj contributed immensely to the growth of Indian operations. While his absence will be missed, we wish him all the best for future.”

Amit has over 10 years of IT industry experience spread across sales, marketing, operations, program management and management functions. Before joining Trend Micro, he worked with prestigious organizations such as Canon, Headstrong and Dell Computers in different geographies. He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Business Administration from Symbiosis, Pune.
