ASUS India ties up with Redington for Notebook Computer Distribution

Mumbai, India May 5th 2006: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (ASUS), India, the leading manufacturer of notebook computers today announced its strategic partnership with Redington India Ltd., one of the foremost players in the IT distribution business. Redington will now be one of the most vital distributors for the ASUS Notebook business in India.

The tie – up has been finalized in the month of April 2006 and will be formally signed next week.

ASUS India started its notebook business in the month of October 2005. It has since then witnessed a continuous growth in the product line. Various new models with unique ASUS features have been introduced in the market. The most promising among the lot are the latest U5 series which is environment friendly and the Dual Core technology based notebooks. ASUS is presently concentrating on its notebook business in the premium and the mainstream category.
